Halong bay

Loved the small group of like minded travelers. The variety in the set menus for meals provided was good. Loved the varied landscapes, set activities and optional activities on offer. The local tour guides were informative, friendly & also fun to be with, in particular Mai Dung on our second leg. Having the night at Ha Long Bay as our second destination helped to gel the group and gave us a chance to get to know one another before continuing on

Great organisation, tour arrangements and hotel accommodation. Special mention must be made for one of the tour guides Betty in Saigon, who went above and beyond to ensure we all had our visas for Cambodia. The group was friendly and this resulted in all of us having a great time. As this was our first group tour, we were a bit nervous, but as all travel arrangements were taken care of, we had a stress free holiday! Looking forward to doing our next trip already!

The trip was made amazing by our fantastic guides, Nam, up north, Hip, central and Tung in Saigon, as well as our drivers, were all excellent and really made the trip unforgettable.

My highlight was the incredible people I traveled with. We all clicked the first day, everyone was so caring and a pleasure to enjoy this adventure with.. All the tour guide couldn’t do enough for everyone and went out of their way to make everything run smoothly. My highlights were the Golden Bridge optional tour and Anklor Wot temple. This tour exceeded all my expectations, thank you Trip-a-Deal. I’ll definitely be travelling with you again.

We had a fantastic time in Vietnam. Our guide, Nhan was brilliant from beginning to end. He had so much patience (especially with my elderly mother) and was very informative. We had a great group of people as well. We enjoyed the pace, having two nights stay at most stops was great. There was a lot of driving, so it was good to be able to break up the trip with stops along the way.

Having a great guide and bus driver. The hotels in Hanoi were lovely. The mountain region ?pulong? was glorious. It was all wonderful. Our guide Lee was exceptional. He helped us in every possible way possible. He was very fast to respond to all questions.

We had a great trip. It was our first time doing a group tour, and we had a great group of people who added to the experience. All our guides were great in sharing their personal experiences of the areas we were in. My husband is a history teacher and learnt so much during the trip. Recommend packing light as there is shopping everywhere.

We were on the Vietnamese 12 day cultural tour. Some highlights for us were the walking tour, Train Street, a rickshaw ride and markets in Hanoi, the cruise and caves in Halong Bay and the village life in Pu Long. We were so lucky to have had a fabulous group of people on our tour, and an even more fabulous tour guide. Mack Nguyen was passionate, knowlegeable, well spoken and very enthusiastic. This was our first time to Vietnam and we loved learning about the culture, accomodation, our group, our guide and the food.
