Bali operates on WITA (Central Indonesia Time), which is GMT +8, the same time zone as Western Australia. When it is 10:00 in Bali, it is noon in Sydney at AEST (or 13:00 AEDT). As the time zones between Bali and Australia are very closely aligned, any jet lag will likely be minimal!
The currency in Bali is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). It's advisable to have cash on hand for incidentals and small purchases. ATMs are widely available for withdrawals, and currency exchange services are also available at airports and local banks.
Tipping is appreciated but not obligatory in Bali.
