We loved the whole Antarctic experience. All ran smoothly both from Trip a Deal and Hurtgruten. Seeing penguins, seals and whales were the highlights for us. The peace and tranquillity as we floated past icebergs was amazing. Back in Buenos Aries our guide was very knowledgeable about the places we visited. One suggestion would be to include a night in Ushuaia after leaving the ship. It looked a great place to explore.

The actual trip was well organised and as advertised. The lead up was not as advertised. For example the Cruise Docs did not arrive about two weeks piror but one day after I had departed. Also the removal of the single supplement for some but not others depending on when you booked was disgraceful.

Antarctica is everything you'd expect. The wildlife and scenery is truly outstanding and we felt extremely privileged to share in this unique part iof the world. Some of the third party operators did not have us in their records, which caused some problems on the ground in Argentina - happy to share details if desired.

Dealing with the team when cyclone Alfred neared Moreton Island and Brisbane airport was due to close, a Trip a deal consultant was able to reissue tickets from Brisbane to Sydney 1 day earlier to ensure we could get to Buenos Aires to start our expedition. Disappointed with Latam airlines who would not cover this cost. We will have to deal with our travel insurance company when we return to Australia From accommodation in Buenos Aires which was 5 stars, airport transfers, tours, Hurtigruten expedition ship Fridtjof Nansen, excursions, food, cabin, lectures on board, staff, Expedition team and crew were well over our expectations. We could not fault any part of the trip. I would highly recommend Trip A Deal to my family and friends

Outstanding trip to Antarctica. The Swan Hellenic ship was small and this was to the advantage of the passengers. With a small ship with less passengers we were able to have two daily trips off the boat to the islands in the Antarctica Peninsula. Ample time to watch, observe and photograph the islands and wildlife to capture the beauty of the Antarctica continent. Yes we actually stood on the continent not just the islands. The expedition team was well organised and gladly gave information on what to look for, how to identify animal specie. How to use the binoculars for maximum visibility. One of the most important lectures was from the ships official photographer. His instructions on how to use and maximise the potential of the phone camera was outstanding. It’s amazing to look back and see what you have accomplished. The ship and the crew were outstanding. Abundant choice of food for everyone. Tasty, delicious and appreciated by the passengers. For people who enjoy wine good selection of red and white wines. However, not everyone is going to drink alcoholic wines. With the choices of nonalcoholic wines available it would be nice to have a glass of nonalcoholic wine with a meal. Stewards well spoken and happy to give you information to make your trip better. They keep the cabins in pristine conditions. Supplies of towels and other supplies in the cabin replace daily. Outstanding staff. This is one trip that I would take again and definitely recommend to anyone who is interested in going to Antarctica. My only disappointment was with Latam Air constant delays in the airport in Santiago and Buenos Aires was very frustrating. Difficult to get information about delays. The two Latam planes left a lot to be desired. Scary to sit in the plane and watch the wing covered in black tape that flaps as we flew. Makes you wonder about plane maintenance. Service came as a cold slice of quiche and a glass of water, juice or tea. Halfway into the flight we were served a muesli bar and a packet of chips. For people who are diabetes or have another health condition and need food it’s very poor. Coming back we pre purchased food and drink to get us back to Australia.

Our swan hellinic ship was perfect for our style of travel. Small and intimate and very stylish. We were blown away by Antartica and were lucky to have great weather which meant we made every shore landing. Crew went above and beyond to ensure everybody was able to enjoy all activities as it is certainly not a stroll in the park landing in zodiacs and walking on ice. Thanks once again tripadeal for enabling me to afford to see so many amazing countries

The trip organisation, quality of the people we met, the hotels we stayed in, the quality of the ship and the crew from Hurtigruten and Antarctica itself. All fabulous.

The experience we had in Antarctica is unforgetable, the cruise ship we boarded is beautiful and the package deal we purchased is great value for money.

The cruise on the SH Vega was exceptional. The expedition team and all crew were absolutely amazing. The abundance of wildlife and majestic scenery was just incredible and we could not have asked for more from this trip. We would definitely cruise on the SH Vega anytime.

Our bucket list trip to Antarctica was fantastic! Just a magic location to visit via adventure travel. The ship Vega was so modern, the cabin, crew, staff and food were/ was excellent. All flights, transfers, hotel accommodation worked, no issues, no delays. Very well organised by TripAdeal 10 out of 10.

A wonderful experience. The HX ship and crew were so organised, knowledgeable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable ship, with almost everything expected and wanted. Whilst disruptions due to weather are inevitable, the crew did their utmost to provide alternate locations, landings and activities. All-round, a fantastic experience. Only thing I would suggest would be decent decaffinated coffee available in restaurant Lindstrom

We loved the cruise on the very luxurious SH Diana, with wonderful caring and friendly staff, delicious food & drinks, stylish staterooms and much more. The expedition team were very knowledgeable and helpful, and kept everyone safe. We loved the expeditions to Antarctica on the zodiacs, it was so awesome and exciting. To see whales, penguins and seals was amazing. Cruising through the Lemair channel was breathtaking. Everything was well organised, enjoyable and we had fun. In fact the section of our trip managed by Swan Hellenic from the time we landed in Buenos Aires was well planned and orderly.

Eden was very good and communicated well. Latam air was fine; the stopovers on way excessive; Swan Hellenic plans and arrangements from airport to hotel and flight organised to Ushuaia very good then transport to coach. SH Vega 7 star. Staff; Stateroom; expedition leaders; hospitality; cuisine; crew and passengers an amazing group of people.return plans to Beunos Aires & hotel great. Flight plan back shocking; considering information supplied. 35 hours travel from BA. Would not book again without consultation and knowing the route which I was not privy too and in receipt of air tickets very disappointed that it ‘cannot be changed’. I spent a considerable amount of time on trying to change this to no avail. Improvements-has to be consultation with client re flight routes and taking into consideration all information supplied. All up Swan Hellenic 7 Star.- would like to plan future trips.
