Western Canada
Coastal areas like Vancouver and British Columbia experience rainy winters and warm summers. Temperatures range from 0°C to 25°C throughout the year.
Central Canada
Winters in places like Calgary, Toronto and Montreal can be cold, with temperatures dipping to -30°C in some areas. Alternatively, summers range from 20°C to 30°C.
Northern Canada
Expect icy cold winters with temperatures often below -40°C, and short cool summers. Arctic regions experience long winters with periods of 24-hour darkness.
Eastern Canada
Canada’s maritime provinces are warm during the summer. However, winters can be harsh. Snow and cold winds are expected in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia
Pack light layers and jumpers for the summer months and for autumn and winter departures, be sure to have a thick coat packed. We recommend a rainproof jacket for all departures.
