Its thriving seaport is now a central hub for industry, tourism and commerce, frequented by travellers worldwide who are keen to experience the friendly welcome of Northern Ireland's capital.

Exploring Belfast independently on your cruise is easy as shuttle buses run between Belfast harbour and the city centre roughly every 15 minutes. Day 12 Isafjordur, Iceland

With miles of mountains and few-and-far-between roads, few regions are as wild and unspoilt as Iceland’s Westfjords. The landscape is dramatic and approaching by sea offers the perfect chance to absorb the scenery before setting foot on land.

Embrace local life in Ísafjörður town or visit the charming nearby village of Flateyri. Ísafjörður is easy to navigate on foot with attractions such as Hversdagssafn (the Museum of Everyday Life) and the Old Hospital (Culture House) approximately 10 minutes apart. Like many fishing villages in the Westfjords, the sea is a source of life in Ísafjörður and you’ll find references to this relationship dotted around town, most prominently in the Westfjords Heritage Museum. Be sure to explore Ísafjörður’s timber-framed houses which were built in the 18th century. For the more outdoorsy, pastimes like horse riding and sea kayaking are possible, the latter offering an ideal way to spot native puffins and seals.

Overnight: Cunard's Queen Anne

Day 13 Akureyri - Eyjafjordur - Hrisey Island

This morning, cruise the peaceful waters of Eyjafjordur while enjoying vistas filled with wildlife and immaculate natural scenery. Almost 80 kilometres in length, Eyjafjordur offers an unforgettable scenic journey with mountains towering high on both sides. Eyjafjordur is your tranquil route to Akureyri however, on your way, you’ll pass a number of smaller towns and villages along the shore.

Established in the mid-17th century, Akureyri offers a port call in a majestic setting and (for the lucky few) the possibility of glimpsing the northern lights. First settled by Norse Vikings in the 9th century, Akureyri is the perfect launchpad from which to explore Northern Iceland’s greatest treasures. Delight in the spellbinding cocktail of piercing blue fjords, bubbling mud pools, snow-kissed mountains and tumbling waterfalls.

Afterwards, you'll enjoy sailing past Hrisey Island. At just 8 kilometres squared in size, it could be considered quite remarkable that Hrisey is in fact Iceland’s second largest island. Home to fewer than 200 residents, Hrisey is known for its rich birdlife and Viking history.

Located in the Scotland Western Isles, Stornoway is a place of harmony and diversity. Here you'll find that both Gaelic and English are spoken while eagles live close to otters, hinting at the unity of the community.

The town on the Isle of Lewis has earned its reputation for having a particularly welcoming port as it is deep and sheltered, justifying its name which means “steering bay". The pier was built on the original site of Stornoway Castle which was destroyed by Cromwell’s forces in 1653. The beauty of the harbour belies its bustling energy and thriving businesses of freight, ferry and leisure traffic, as well as a busy fishing industry.

As you disembark at Greenock to explore Glasgow, you will likely be greeted by the stirring sights and sounds of a traditional Scottish pipe band in full tartan regalia.

Just a short walk from the port, Greenock itself is a pretty town with a rich heritage of herring fishing and ship building. The prosperity resulting from these lucrative industries is quite evident in the impressive Victorian architecture of the major buildings in town. This includes the Sheriff Court, the Municipal Building and the Customs House which is now a museum dedicated to the town’s maritime history.

CLIMATE & AVERAGE TEMPERATURES
London
In June, London experiences mild and pleasant summer weather with average daytime highs ranging from 19–22°C and lows of 11–14°C. Days are often warm, with plenty of daylight due to the long summer days, but evenings and early mornings can feel cool. Rain is possible, as London has a fairly consistent chance of showers year-round, but June is one of the drier months, with only light or moderate rainfall expected. Humidity levels are moderate, and conditions are generally comfortable for outdoor activities. Light clothing is suitable for the day, but bringing a jacket or sweater for cooler times and an umbrella for occasional showers is advisable.

Belfast
In June, Belfast enjoys mild and relatively pleasant early summer weather. Daytime temperatures typically range from 16–19°C, while nighttime lows are between 9–12°C. While there is often sunshine, Belfast’s weather can be unpredictable, with occasional rain showers, as June averages about 10–12 days of rain. Humidity levels are moderate, and the long daylight hours, with up to 17 hours of light, make it a great time for outdoor activities. A mix of light clothing for the day and warmer layers, such as a sweater or light jacket for the evenings, is recommended, along with an umbrella or waterproof jacket for sudden rain.

Reykjavik
In June, Reykjavik experiences cool but pleasant early summer weather. Daytime temperatures typically range from 9–14°C, while nighttime lows are between 5–8°C. Despite the relatively mild temperatures, the air can feel cooler due to breezy conditions. Rainfall is moderate, with occasional light showers, so packing waterproof clothing is advisable. June is characterized by long daylight hours, including the phenomenon of the Midnight Sun, offering nearly 24 hours of light, ideal for exploring. Layered clothing is recommended with warm outerwear for evenings and windproof gear for outdoor activities.

Scotland
In June and July, Scotland experiences mild summer weather, with conditions varying across regions like Stornoway and Greenock due to the maritime climate. In Stornoway, daytime highs range from 13–16°C in June and 15–18°C in July, with nighttime lows of 8–12°C. Breezy conditions are common, especially along the coast, making it feel cooler at times. Greenock is slightly warmer, with highs of 16–19°C in June and 18–21°C in July, and lows between 9–13°C. Both areas enjoy long daylight hours, particularly in Stornoway, where the days stretch late into the night. Rainfall is frequent across both locations, so waterproof clothing is recommended. Layered outfits are ideal for the mix of warmer days, cooler evenings, and sudden weather changes, making these months perfect for exploring Scotland's outdoors.

Seat Selection & Frequent Flyer Points
We do not arrange seat selection. It is essential to highlight that some airlines do not allow pre-selected seats. We strongly suggest you contact the airline directly with seating allocation requirements and/or arrive at the airport earlier to arrange your seating. While we do not add frequent flyer member details to bookings, you can do this directly with the airline once you have your flight information.

Passport Validity
Customers must provide valid passport details either at the time of purchase or no later than 45 days before the departure date. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the booking. Customers will be responsible for any costs and fees incurred in this instance.

Fitness Level Required
Adventure (and spontaneity) create some of the best travel memories. Bear in mind, your home schedules and timings might not be adhered to on tour - it's all part of the fun!

A relaxed level of fitness will be required. Expect a comfortable pace of touring with a focus on leisure time and gentle activity. This may include city tours, the ability to walk up and down small flights of stairs and gentle slopes. You will be responsible for your own luggage and have the ability to board all modes of transport without assistance. Please note: Some areas may be inaccessible to wheelchairs or mobility scooters, with personal walking sticks and other aids required should they be needed. Although some assistance may be available, every traveller should be self-reliant during all aspects of their travel.

Please note:
• It is expected that every traveller must be self-reliant and able to undertake all aspects of their own travel. Please speak to your booking agent about your personal circumstances and any assistance requirements to ensure this tour is right for you.
• If you have any concerns, please consult your healthcare provider prior to purchase/travel.

Yellow Fever
A valid international certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever is required in many countries. You may need to present this on arrival at the airport or border crossing. Some countries will refuse entry if you are unable to present your certificate. It's also common for your home country to request a Yellow Fever certificate upon arrival. You must check with your doctor well before leaving home about the Yellow Fever requirements for the countries you'll be visiting.

Sightseeing
Please note: If entry to a site is affected by changes in operating hours or public holiday closures, your itinerary, where possible, may be adjusted, or a similar activity will be offered in its place (subject to availability).

Shopping
Shopping overseas can be a daunting and confusing experience, especially when there is a language barrier. Please be very cautious when foreign currencies and prices are involved. If paying by credit card, please pay close attention to the amount you are being charged and keep all your receipts. Do not make any purchases you are not comfortable with or feel pressured into. If you are uncertain or need assistance with the language barrier, please seek assistance from your Tour Guide/Leader. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions regarding shopping for further information.

Visas

United Kingdom
Starting 8th January 2025, Australian passport holders will require an ETA visa to visit the United Kingdom

Iceland
Australian passport holders are visa exempt for an accumulative total stay of 90 days per 180 calendar days.

Important:
• Please start arranging your visa three weeks before departure to account for any delays due to consulate operating hours.
• Visa rules are subject to change. Please check with the nearest embassy, consulate or immigration department of the destination/s you are visiting once you receive your travel documentation to ensure you have the most up to date information.
• It is your responsibility to be travel-ready and ensure that you are aware and comply with any destination or travel requirements, including the validity of all required travel documents.
• Passengers who are not Australian citizens must also check with the respective consulate or visa agency to determine what their visa requirements are and what personal identification is required.
• It is also important to note that some areas of employment, such as journalism, government authorities and charity organisations, may have additional restrictions in applying for visas. This may, in turn, affect the type of application required.

Travel insurance

Embarking on your next trip is exciting, and while you hope the unexpected does not happen, it is best to be prepared. We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance when making your booking. Whether it’s a potential medical emergency, a flight cancellation, a delayed suitcase, or an unforeseen event, it's important to ensure you're adequately protected.
