CLIMATE & AVERAGE TEMPERATURES
February to March
The average temperature in Rome, Italy, during February and March typically ranges as follows:
February: The average temperature is around 8-12°C. Daytime temperatures can reach about 13°C, while nighttime temperatures can drop to around 4°C.
March: The average temperature is around 10-15°C. Daytime temperatures can rise to about 16°C, while nighttime temperatures can be around 7°C.

April to October
Italy is largely characterised by a typical Mediterranean climate made up of warm springs and hot and dry summers, the climate here is very pleasant. April to June and September to October are the best months to travel through southern Italy. You can expect temperatures of up to 26°C during the warmest part of the day. Along the coast of Southern Italy in July and August the average temperature is above 25°C.
In the northern areas in October the average daily temperature is 14.5°C but temperatures can still reach highs of 19°C which can feel quite pleasant. Temperatures are starting to drop low during this month though, especially at night. The average minimum temperature in October is 10°C.
