Missed Flights

TOUR GUIDE VS. TOUR LEADER
Tour Guide: 
Often locals with intimate knowledge of an area, its culture, and history. Their role entails providing commentary, routing the tour, and seeing that people have a good time. They are a licensed, qualified expert who supplies specific information on the history, art, architecture and culture of the city/village/attraction where they are guiding the tour. The guide meets the group at the required place and leaves it at the end of the tour; they do not travel with the group. 

Tour Leader: 
An experienced person tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of tours, as well as providing practical support to passengers throughout the whole trip. Their role primarily includes assisting with accommodation, transportation between locations, and communication with tour guides at each stop. A tour leader may provide general guidance around a city or village and offer information on the place visited on the bus. However, they are not required to have specific art, architecture, or historical knowledge. They are not allowed to provide a guided tour or commentary of a city/village/attraction once there and, if caught doing so, can be fined.

New South Wales 
In February, Sydney enjoys warm weather with temperatures ranging from 19°C to 25°C, often accompanied by humidity and occasional rain showers. Meanwhile, Eden experiences milder conditions, with temperatures between 14°C and 22°C, offering pleasant warmth and some chances of rainfall. Both locations provide a mix of sunny and rainy days, ideal for exploring their natural and urban attractions.

Queensland
In February, Mooloolaba experiences warm temperatures ranging from 21°C to 29°C, with high humidity and frequent rain showers typical of its tropical climate. Airlie Beach enjoys similarly warm conditions, with temperatures between 23°C and 30°C, accompanied by high humidity and regular rainfall. Cairns also sees warm temperatures ranging from 23°C to 31°C, with high humidity and frequent showers, characteristic of its wet season. All three locations offer a tropical climate with a mix of sunny and rainy days.

Northern Territory
In March, Darwin experiences warm and humid weather, with temperatures typically ranging from 25°C to 33°C. This month is part of Darwin's wet season, so it's characterised by high humidity and frequent thunderstorms or heavy rain showers. Victoria 
In February, Melbourne experiences warm summer weather with temperatures ranging from 14°C to 25°C. It’s generally a pleasant month with occasional heatwaves, and the weather can be quite variable, ranging from sunny and hot to cooler days with possible rain.

South Australia
In February, Adelaide typically enjoys warm summer weather with temperatures ranging from 17°C to 29°C. The city often experiences sunny days, although there can be occasional heat waves with higher temperatures.
Kangaroo Island, in February, experiences similar summer conditions, with temperatures ranging from 16°C to 28°C. The weather is generally warm and sunny, though it can be slightly cooler than the mainland due to the island's coastal location.

Western Australia 
Summer in Perth is hot and dry with very little rainfall. Average temperatures range from 17.5 - 30°C. In the afternoons a sea breeze called the ‘Fremantle Doctor' provides some relief from the heat.

Bali 
The average daily temperature in Bali in February ranges from 24°C to 31°C. The evenings tend to be cooler, averaging around 24°C, while daytime temperatures can reach highs of 31°C.

Singapore 
The average daily temperature stays consistent at 27°C, nice and warm without much humidity yet, compared to March, which has an average temperature of around 27°C. The lows at night can drop down to 24°C, a welcome respite from the heat of the day.

A tourist visa will be issued upon arrival if staying less than 30 days if travelling on an Australian passport. A visa fee of IDR 500,000 (approximately AUD $50 subject to change) applies and it is best to have this amount in cash upon arrival to ensure smooth entry.

Australian passport holders do not require a visa for stays of less than 90 days in Singapore.

This may be due to non-refundable airline tickets, cancellation penalties with cruise cabins or unrecoverable payments with our land/accommodation partners. If refunds are not available from Suppliers, we will endeavour to obtain a travel credit on the best terms available and communicate these outcomes to you. In the event we are unable to obtain a refund or travel service credit, or part thereof, this cost is passed on to the customer as a Supplier Fee.
