TripADeal is a Travel Deals website that specialises in delivering the most UNIQUE travel experiences across Australia and South-East Asia at the LOWEST prices possible. Our aim is to find you the coolest travel products in this region and bargain with the operators to get you the very best deal. In fact our deals should be the BEST you will find anywhere. If you happen to find the same deal featured somewhere else at a better price we will match it. That way you can be guaranteed that TripADeal price is ALWAYS going to be the best price.
Our mission is to make the purchase of our deals as simple as possible. All you have to do is check us out on your smartphone, tablet, lap-top or desktop PC and see what deals we are featuring on any given day. If you see something you like then select the deal, book your dates and press the buy button. It's that easy.
If you aren't sure of when you want to travel then you can always come back and book your dates later. Our unique real-time booking system allows you to choose dates at the time of your purchase or wait until later to make up your mind. You just have to book it before you travel AND obviously the sooner you book the more dates you will have to choose from.
All your purchases will be listed under the 'My Deals' tab when you are logged in. Here you will see all your vouchers both booked and unbooked. Unbooked vouchers can be booked using the drop-down calendar. Simply choose the dates you want and your voucher will move from unbooked to booked status. Your vouchers can be easily printed from here and if you happen to lose it just come back and print it again. Too easy.
The terms and conditions of the deal will be featured on both the 'Deal' page and the purchased voucher in the 'The Fine Print' section. These will outline the validity period, terms and conditions and other specific aspects of the deal. Even though your dates will have been booked it is advisable to contact the hotel/villa/operator hosting the deal and re-confirm your dates are locked into their system. Upon arrival you will be asked to present your voucher. This will contain all the features of the deal and any add-ons that are a part of that.
All purchases on our site are processed through PAYPAL so you can rest assured that is a secure transaction. Your credit card details are not stored on our system at all. If you have a PayPal account you can use that to purchase products or you can simply make individual card transactions without an account.

The terms and conditions of the deal will be featured on both the 'Deal' page and the purchased voucher in the 'The Fine Print' section. These will outline the validity period, booking procedure and other specific aspects of the deal. In most cases you will be required to contact the business owner and book your travel ahead of time.
TripADeal uses PayPal for all customer transactions so it is extremely secure. Your credit card details are not stored on our system at all. If you have a PayPal account you can use that to purchase products or you can simply make individual card transactions without an account.
The TripADeal website was first launched in July 2011. Having spent the best part of our lives 'on the road' we had continually dreamt up travel related businesses so we could indulge our wanderlust and also earn a living. We tried it all. From mountain bike tours to surfing safaris, kayak trips to abseiling adventures, backpacker hostels to travel guides-books. It didn't matter what it was as long as we didn't need to get out of bed and put on a suit. The idea for TripADeal came about after a conversation on the proliferation of 'Deal Sites'. Coming from a travel background we were really interested in how the group-buying model might be applied to the travel industry. At the time there were unbelievable offers being promoted across dozens of 'Deal Sites' for all manner of products and services. Group discounts meant prices were being slashed and the customers were loving it. You could even buy the odd holiday if you were vigilant, signed up to enough sites and checked your emails every day for that one deal that might be just right for you.
At this stage there was very little in way of travel being offered but those with an understanding of the industry could see it was a perfect fit and that ultimately group buying would significantly change the way that travel was bought and sold. It was in this context that we decided that we could play a role in the development of the concept. With our travel industry experience we pretty much knew all the issues for both travellers and operators when it came to buying, selling, booking or enjoying travel experiences. We certainly understood the balance between good deals for the customer and sustainable outcomes for the operator - something we felt had been completely missed in the 'deals gold rush'. It was easy enough to sell dozens of ridiculously priced holidays but what happened after that didn't even come into consideration. For everyone to be happy the customer would need to be able to redeem his/voucher within a reasonable timeframe and get good service when doing so. The only way the operator could hold up their end of the deal was if they had the time and resources to do so. It came down to selling enough to negotiate a good price for the customer but not too many that the operator would not be able to cope. And that's where we saw our niche. Right there in the middle of a good deal for the customer AND a good outcome for the operator TripADeal was born.
TripADeal is a small operation. We are not, nor do we pretend to be another group-buying corporate giant. In fact the only thing we have in common is that we love to find great deals and sell them to you as cheaply as possible. We like to think of ourselves as a DIY 'Travel Deals' site where tourism operators can promote and sell their very best offers to a highly motivated customer base who simply LOVE A DEAL. Anything you find on our site is going to be good. It has to be to make it in the first place. But more than that we want to promote unique experiences that will in their own way enrich your view of the world around you. Being small we have the time to talk to our operators and see how we can help their business in a positive way, we can answer specific questions from our customers about our featured deals and we can continue our relentless search for interesting and rewarding travel experiences. We understand that this is what makes us different and what will deliver us the loyal custom of both travellers and merchants alike. So that's exactly what we do. It's really very simple. We aim to keep our operators happy because happy operators send us great deals and great deals make our customers happy and happy customers are what we are all about. Welcome to TripADeal.
